My Journey

I originally took an entry-level coaching course because I wanted a way to be more effective and helpful to friends and family members.  It seemed that almost every one was having some kind of unhappy or dissatisfied period in their lives.  And, it seemed like I wasn’t really helping.  After attending that intro, my eyes were opened to the benefits of professional coaching and then came the next level of education. Having received my Professional Certified Life Coach education and credentials from the Certified Life Coach Institute, my next step was to learn a new way of helping others.

I have been self-employed for 30 years in the alternative health care field. After a very serious injury and a divorce, I went back to school.  As I received relief from chiropractic care and becoming fascinated by the field, it became clear that this was a way to help people and enjoy the benefits of a wonderful profession.  As a chiropractor, I’ve worked with patients to not only help them to have a healthy body, but also addressed emotional and nutritional factors that negatively effected their bodies and their lives.  As Allegheny County’s first American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) certified animal chiropractor, my last 10 years have been devoted exclusively to providing chiropractic care to animals…dogs, cats and even horses! I have traveled internationally to provide these services and am honored and thrilled to have such a wonderful profession!

A nationally known speaker and teacher, I also developed, promoted and taught many post-graduate level continuing education seminars both nationally and locally. Since I enjoy public speaking and helping others, I have given many lectures and classes over the years to both veterinarians, chiropractors and lay people.

After a personal relationship ended, I found myself buying a piece of real estate for investment purposes.  A few years later, I owned several single family rental homes.  After using several local management firms and paying excessive prices for what I considered poor service (losing money and sleep), I chose to manage myself and started a property management company, with myself as sole employee.  It has turned out to be a true learning experience,  one that proved to be a great action step!  Even though I thought I couldn’t do it, I pushed through that story.   Happy to say now it was a one of best things I’ve done for myself!

My careers in working with both the humans and animals, energy and nutritional work, and also the hard realities of real estate and dealing with tenants, real estate agents, contractors and municipality laws and codes, have given me a well-rounded, balanced outlook that I bring to You.   Together, we can discover Your Next Step.
